It’s only natural therefore that Lullaby has a high zinc content. Zinc is the body’s repair technician, and its preventative and restorative effects on the human body have been well researched over the last century.

Following extensive development efforts, we have discovered a well-balanced formulation that utilises a new generation of zinc oxide. This formulation meets our most-crucial criteria: it’s proven to be highly effective, whilst also being sustainable and gentle on skin! The outcome is a versatile, quick-acting SOS balm that’s suitable for all ages and skin types.

Zinc’s effects on skin include:

• Helping restore the proper functioning of skin’s protective barrier.
• Preventing the penetration of irritants, pathogens, and allergens through the skin and into the body.
• Soothing redness, irritation, and inflammation in skin, making zinc great for treating issues such as acne, rosacea, and seborrheic dermatitis.
• Inhibiting the growth of pathogens thanks to zinc’s antimicrobial properties.
• Providing mild protection from UV radiation. The 25% zinc oxide content of Lullaby is enough to ensure average protection from sun exposure. Intense sunlight or prolonged exposure to the sun should be avoided if possible; if unavoidable, then appropriate clothing and specialist UV-blocking cream should be used.

Lullaby Rescue Balm can be used:

• For the prevention and care of diaper dermatitis affecting infants, the elderly, and anyone else who may need such care.
• For the care of skin showing symptoms of perioral dermatitis, eczema, acne, skin abrasions, hives, or sun allergies.
• To relieve skin irritation caused by excessive sweating in skin folds.
• To promote wound healing and skin regeneration.
• To prevent the onset of bacterial infections after the skin barrier is broken or weakened; for example, after shaving or hair removal.
• For the protection of skin from sunburn and other sun-related damage thanks to Lullaby’s high zinc oxide content (25%). The balm’s protection is approximate to an SPF 15 rating. The balm can be particularly useful for those with sensitive skin that are allergic to sun creams.

Usage

Apply Lullaby Rescue Balm to areas of skin that require care or protection, such as damaged or irritated skin, recently shaved areas, and the diaper region. Apply the balm as frequently as necessary to relieve irritation and protect affected skin.

For sun protection, apply evenly onto skin and reapply after swimming or getting skin wet.

Tips!

• Lullaby can easily spread onto clothes, bed linen, and other fabrics when first applied. Try to avoid dressing immediately after application, and allow time for the skin to absorb the balm.

Remember

LUMI products are unique – chemical free, fresh, and minimally processed – so please protect them from direct sunlight. Lullaby Rescue Balm is most effective up to six months after opening. If you decide to take a break from using our products, store in the refrigerator to slightly extend their life. As with all natural ingredients, however – the fresher, the better!
